The key to using a spandex knitting machine is to master the core steps of threading, starting up, changing yarn and monitoring, while paying attention to safe operation and daily maintenance.
1. Yarn threading and startup preparation
Yarn threading: Put the package yarn on the creel. The yarn needs to pass through the tensioner, the yarn feeding wheel, the middle parking device in sequence, and finally be introduced into the magnetic eye of the yarn feeding ring of the main body, and pulled out and introduced into the needle hook. Wrap a coil on the yarn feeder to complete the threading of the yarn feeder.
Start-up inspection: Before starting, check whether the yarn bobbin on the creel is aligned, whether the yarn is pressed, whether the yarn guides on the yarn running line are installed correctly, whether the yarn is clamped, whether there are debris near the needle cylinder, whether the distance between the yarn guide and the knitting needle is appropriate, whether the needle tongue can be fully opened, whether the yarn feeding is normal, whether the shutdown parts operate normally, whether the probe position is correct, and whether there is any foreign matter next to the cloth rolling device.
2. Start-up and trial operation
Startup: Have electrical professionals connect the equipment lines, start the equipment, and run it slowly for 5 minutes.
Trial operation: After confirming that the equipment is normal, run it at low speed (5r/min) for 10 minutes, then confirm whether the oil supply of the lubricator is effective, and then conduct a trial operation of the equipment. During the trial operation of new equipment, it should be operated at about 50% of the normal speed for about 7 to 10 days, and then the equipment speed should be increased to enter normal operation.
3. Basic operations and yarn changing
Yarn splicing: When the yarn is broken, the equipment will automatically stop. Find the two broken ends, connect them together, and thread the yarn according to the yarn threading route (note that it should be wound around the yarn storage device 10 to 15 times), and then it can be turned on.
Yarn replacement: When the yarn on a yarn cone is used up, the equipment will automatically stop due to the disappearance of the tension (or if it is found that the yarn is about to be used up, you can manually stop the machine, remove the old yarn cone and pull the yarn off), place the new yarn cone on the creel, be careful not to press the yarn, hold the new and old yarn ends with both hands, tie them, thread the yarn, and return the yarn tension to normal.
Monitoring: Check the cloth surface under the machine at any time to pay attention to whether there are defects or other abnormal phenomena; every few minutes, touch the cloth surface with your hand in the direction of the machine's rotation to feel whether the winding tension of the braid meets the requirements and whether the winding speed at both ends of the winding shaft is consistent; clean the transmission system and the oil and flying lint on and around the surface of the machine at any time to keep the workplace clean and safe.
