When setting the parameters of a spandex knitting machine, the core is to control the yarn tension, loop length and spandex content. Based on your needs, I have helped you sort out the key steps and reference values.
1. Raw material and equipment selection
Raw materials: Usually 18tex (32s) cotton yarn and 33.3tex (30D) spandex yarn are interwoven.
Equipment: Select the cylinder diameter and machine number according to the door width. For example, 1600mm door width commonly uses 762mm (30") barrel diameter and 28-pin/25.4mm machine number.
2. Key parameter settings
Yarn tension: The cotton yarn feeding tension is controlled at 3-4cN, and the spandex yarn feeding tension is 5-7cN.
Coil length: The length of cotton yarn coil is about 14.5cm/50 stitches, and the spandex yarn coil length needs to be measured (such as 8.4cm/100 stitches).
Spandex content: Calculated by the coil length. For example, in the above example, the spandex content is approximately 4.92%.
3. Debugging and verification
After debugging, cut the fabric and measure the actual coil length to calculate whether the spandex content meets the requirements.
Pay attention to controlling the let-off amount to be stable and avoid fluctuations in spandex content.
