The core of daily maintenance of spandex knitting machines is to keep key parts clean, check wearing parts, and ensure stable tension. The specific points are as follows:
1. Clean key areas
Regularly clean the middle yarn detection device, tension plate, yarn feeding nozzle and other parts to prevent the accumulation of dirt causing unstable tension or blockage. At the same time, keep the machine clean to avoid clogging by flying dust and affecting operation.
2. Check and replace wearing parts
Pay attention to check the wear of knitting needles, sinkers and other wearing parts, and replace them in time to prevent fabric quality problems caused by wear.
3. Maintain tension device and scissors
Ensure that the tension device operates stably. The winding of yarn in the tension disk will cause unstable tension, uneven winding and end breakage. It needs to be disassembled and cleared according to the specifications. If the scissors are not sharp, the yarn cannot be cut, problems such as double yarns and repeated cutting by the yarn clearer may occur. The scissors should be replaced with new ones. The old scissors can be sharpened and used for later use.
4. Other matters needing attention
Regularly check whether the bobbin magazine is clogged with lint or yarn waste due to the ratchet part. It is necessary to remove the parts of the yarn magazine to remove the lint or yarn waste. During the inspection, if there is dirt on the surface of the yarn detection device that may cause malfunction, its detection surface needs to be cleaned. Pay attention to whether the distance between the yarn feeder and the knitting needle is appropriate. When flying spandex (flying yarn), it is necessary to readjust the position of the yarn feeder and appropriately increase the take-up tension.
